Service rating : Goods well described, ordering clear and easy but .... delivery services ... well Co-op states "Your product will be delivered on the date stated above between the
hours of 7am and 7pm by our courier DPD. You will receive a text on
the day of delivery giving you a 60 minute time slot for your delivery.
The carrier will require you to sign for the products, but if you are not
available they will leave a card detailing re-delivery arrangements or
collection addresses." The chosen day was Friday - no tracking info available until the following Monday, apart from the fact that it had left Co-op Electrical on Thursday and was with the Carrier. The package was not delivered on Friday. I emailed the carrier and received no response. On Monday afternoon DPD delivered the goods. but I had received no text or call in the morning advising the time of delivery. As I live in the North of Scotland I suspect the problem lies in the fact that the goods were not dispatched from the warehouse in time for them to be delivered to the Highland Depot of DPD in time for onward delivery. This was very inconvenient for I had to remain at home to await delivery when I should have been at work (I am self-employed). Perhaps attention to this kind of detail would improve opinions? Having explained the difficulties I will probably order other goods in the hope that the issue has been resolved ... wait and see!!!
Product : Am delighted with my new microwave .... easy to operate, a good and comprehensive instruction manual is provided ... and a quick wash and rinse keeps it clean and shiny.

Service rating : I liked being kept well informed about delivery day and time slot.
Product : Early days yet, but doesn't seem to heat food as quickly as the less-powerful 30 year old microwave I've just disposed of. Also seems to have far too many and quite uneccessary function buttons. The whole unit moves backwards when the button is pushed to open the oven door - how basic a design fault is that?!

The fridge freezer was scratched and dented in 5 places as it was unpacked before it was carried up the stairs by the delivery company. Technically the delivery company were at fault rather than Co-op but Co-op should not employ such cowboys. I do not appreciate my father being intimidated by a 20 stone man covered in tatoos tellling him to accept on my behalf the scratched and dented fridge because they had another delivery to go to. It is also my belief that they lied when they said they could not fit it up the stairs in the packaging as it was not a big fridge - it is well known that delivery men often unpack items because they are too lazy to carry packaging back down the stairs. There were only two delivery men and one apparently had to stay and guard the van leaving one man to carry it and damage it - I said clearly on my order that it was an upstairs flat - they need to have more men in the van in that case, not damage my fridge. They also had the cheek to say to the Co-op customer services person that the area where they had to park looked dodgy which is why one of them had to stay with the van - they should get their facts straight as it is a private road in one of the most exclusive areas in the centre of Leeds with 24 hour CCTV not some sort of inner-city council block.
