The Tefal GV7450 features a unique Ultraglide soleplate and Easy Cord system, which keeps the cord safely away from the fabric and your hand. The model also has a powerful variable steam output thanks to 5 bar pressure.

The GV7450 has an extra large water tank providing up to 3 hours Ironing time plus visibility of the water level. It also includes the unique Tefal anti scale collector, which saves time and preserves the generator over time.

Differences between a Standard Iron and a Steam Generator: Steam generators are more powerful than standard irons, meaning they are generally quicker than normal hand held irons and can reduce ironing time by up to 50%.

Added power in steam generators means increased steam shots, helping reduce the effort required to get rid of stubborn creases.

Steam generators can hold more water than a conventional iron therefore allow for longer ironing time before refills.

Steam generator irons are lighter to hold as the water is held in a separate tank.

Steam generators generally have better anti-scale devices which mean they stay cleaner and at higher, consistent working performance levels for longer.
